more on ajax and web UIs

Following up on my ‘ajax sux’ post, this post by Jeff Atwood. I agree with his conclusion : after all these years we should be able to make something better for app development than this hodge-podge of different technologies. There is a clear need for thin-client apps, but there’s gotta be a better way than Ajax to fulfill it.
